Dessert less.......

As non-vegetarian for Kashmir, here in Rajasthan the cuisine is influenced by both war-like and availability of ingredients in arid regions. The food is prepared in such a way that it could last for several days. The non-vegetarian part of this cuisine is influenced from Rajput. Roti plays an important role in this cuisine with its famous Lehsun chutney.


Snacks
             This cuisine is well known for its snacks. Some of the snacks are Mirchi bada, Pyaaj kachori, Bikaneri bhujia, etc. 


Sweets

              Sweets are never known as dessert in Rajasthan as they are served before, during and after meal. Some of the famous sweets are Makkan-bada, Seero, Mawa kachori, etc.

Mawa kachori
                           Mawa kachori from Jodhpur is a must try dish. In this kachori is stuffed with mawa along with crispy dry fruits which is to be eaten when served hot. This dish sets a perfect example for sweet.


Dal bati churma-Traditional food of Rajasthan

Dal bati churma is considered as traditional food of Rajasthan which is known for its crunchy bati's dipped in ghee along with spicy dal and sweet churma, which is mouth watering.


Drinks
            Jal Jeera is served as a starter drink which refreshes the hunger and unique to Rajasthani food platter. It is a tangy drink which is simply awesome to refresh ourselves.

 

This Rajasthan cuisine is mouth watering and different when sweets are not considered as desserts. If you want to try this dessertless cuisine, the rajasthani cuisine is waiting for you to savour its flavour.
