Butter tea is one of the famous and staple dishes of Kashmir.it is originated from Tibet.Butter and salt are added to the tea in order to prepare this delicious delicacy. Rista

Rista is a popular Kashmiri Cuisine which takes a lot of efforts to prepare but it's all worth it. You may have had meat balls or kebabs, Rista is just like that, but softer and tastier.For this you require a special Wooden hammer and wooden log to mince the meat.

It is one of the signature recepies of Kashmiri cuisine.It consists of pieces of lamb or muttonbraised with a gravy flavoured with garlic, ginger and aromatic spices (cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, and cinnamon), and in some versions incorporating onions or yogurt.
