In the southern part of India in Maharashtra, there is a dargah of Qamar Ali Darvesh at Shivpur village which has a miraculous stone weighing around 200kg.
If 11 people touch that stone with index fingers and shout "Qamar Ali Darvesh" the stone flies up in the air.
Interesting and shocking too right ??
If a single person tries to lift the stone, they are able to
move it more than two feet off the ground.
This miraculous stone is called levitating stone of the shrine.
It is said that once there was a Sufi saint named Qamar Ali who was known for his miracles. About 800 years ago a gymnasium existed on the place where the shrine is located at present. This levitating stone shrine was laid to show that spiritual power is greater than the physical power of humans.
According to legend :
"If eleven men place their right index fingers under the stone and right index fingers under the stone and jointly call my name, I will cause it to rise higher than their heads".
Till this date, people were not able to explain this supernatural phenomenon and when people tried to remove that stone from the shrine they faced several consequences which is very shocking to hear.
